| a few weeks ago over memorial weekend carrter, carris, and myself took a trip with popa and uncle graham to the homestead resort while mom and hallis made a visit to california to see family. popa was down there playing in a golf tournament (which he won!) while the 3 of us played and had fun. we had an awesome trip full of fishing, hiking, swimming, tennis, golf, hayrides, and lots of eating! don't tell anyone but i even attended and afternoon tea with carris! this pic is after we finally arrived following the 3.5 hour drive...

| carris meeting "patches" the horse. she walked straight up to the horse, said hello, and pet him on the bridge of his nose. kind of made dad a little nervous! i think her favorite activities of the entire trip were the horseback riding and swimming in the natural spring pool.
